Bed and Breakfast in Cornwall - Penvith Barns

Hi!

Something about our website has attracted your attention, so it's up to me now to keep you interested.

We moved to Cornwall 7 years ago and bought a large, somewhat down at heel barn conversion - it was love at first sight - and set up our B&B.

Judging by the people who come back year after year, we do a pretty good job of it - turn to our guest comments page and check it out!

Four years ago, we started breeding Alpacas and now have a herd of over thrity animals for you to meet, plus three tame sheep. To read more and see some pictures, click on our grounds page.

These fabulously gentle animals are all hand feedable and this year we will re-open our very popular Alpaca Shop, so you can buy local Cornish garments and South American art knits.

Even if a field full of fluffy animals are not what turns you on, Penvith Barns are a great spot to explore Cornwall. The Coastal Path is a few minutes walk away. We get a lot of walkers out of season - maybe our tumble drier has something to do with that! The Eden Project, Polpero, beautiful stately homes like Cothele, Lanhydroc and Mount Edgecombe are all nearby. Plymouth and it's amazing Aquarium, shops and the mediaeval Barbican are all 40 minutes away. Go to my things to do page and read more.

Sandy beaches, lovely coastal villages, loads of history including our own sugglers tunnel, mining and prehistoric villages. Fabulous gardens including the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

I could go on for pages and pages of brilliant places to visit in this incredible county. Check-out Looe, only three miles away on the Looe webcam. Come and visit us, we really look forward to meeting you.
