My partner and I, along with our dog, spent a couple of nights at the Hen House ....what a lovely place . In an elevated position we had views across the beautiful countryside, and a short walk behind us there were sheep and of course hen's ... lovely. The room was spotless with all amenities to make our stay relaxed and comfortable. Teresa and Andrew really looked after us during our short stay and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was awesome with a good selection to choose from .... thank you both and we will definitely be visiting Penvith Farm again on our travels to Cornwall.
Had two rooms here with my family for an extended weekend. I loved the position. Within 3 miles of Looe centre but positioned out in the beautiful countryside. Our rooms were nicely furnished , with wonderfully comfortable beds. A special mention must go to the breakfasts. Cooked to order everyday with fresh local ingredients. Fantastic eggs from the Penvith hens too! Definitely will be back soon.
A breathe of fresh air, something different.
A great run place with lovely views, great rooms and fantastic hosts. We were made to feel right at home as soon as we walked through the door.
The breakfast is sublime and the location is fantastic, situated just outside looe bay, it sits on the backdrop of the lovely countryside. Will definitely go back again.
Me and my fiance stayed here for a week on holiday and loved everything about it. The hosts were so kind and interactive and cooked a lovely breakfast every morning. The Hay Barn was a spotless, lovely 3 roomed accomidation that had the most comfortable bed we had slept in. Even better than the one we have at home. We were gutted having to leave but we will definately revisit next time we travel to Cornwall.
Fabulous place. Beautiful room with all the comforts of home. Amazing breakfast, couldn't ask for better. I usually prefer hotels as I enjoy my privacy, however, after our very warm welcome we were left to our own devices, which was great. Safe place to park and wonderful scenery. Highly recommended.
my wife and I stayed for a long weekend , it started with a freindly welcome, and continued throughout our stay, the room was lovely and breakfast each morning was perfect, we were given advice for places to visit and to eat which was lovely , the only down side was we wished we could have stayed longer.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Penvith Barn. In the quiet of the hills, a beautifully restored ancient farmhouse. Lovely spacious rooms, clean and well equipped. On top of this absolutely superb, freshly cooked breakfast! And very helpful and friendly hosts...it was a wonderful stay !
Tagged along in a family holiday and booked into Penvith Barns to be close to them. I was extremely happy here for the week, and was made so welcome. The breakfasts are wonderful. Can't recommend highly enough
My partner booked this location as a surprise for my birthday. He knew how fond I was of Looe and wanted to book somewhere that had a bit of character.
Absolutely stunning little B&B and the owners were lovely too; friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was almost as good as the other half’s. But shhhhh don’t tell him I said that.
Wouldn’t have changed anything about our stay. The location has some stunning views, we lucked out with the weather. Shame we didn’t have longer to explore more locally by foot. Would definitely return.
Ps. I loved the attention to detail in “The Piggery” I felt right at home. “Oink, Oink”
